Terms for Care Card.

Alongside Pets LLC, a Washington company, provides Care Card. By using it, you agree to these terms. Our privacy page explains how your information is handled.

What Care Card is

Care Card is a free way to keep a pet’s details in one place and share them with people who look after your pet. It isn’t a booking, payment or insurance service, or a substitute for veterinary care.

Your information

You control what you add and who you share it with. Please add only information you have the right to share. That includes a backup contact’s details, which you should add only with their permission. You’re responsible for keeping details accurate, especially feeding and medicine.

Sharing with your household

Invite only people who look after your pets with you. Everyone in a household can edit, share or delete its pets. If someone leaves, the pets stay with the household.

Sharing with providers

A provider is someone who uses Care Card to look after pets for others, such as a sitter, walker, groomer or boarding place. Alongside Pets doesn’t check, verify or recommend providers. Share only with someone you know. Any arrangement between an owner and a provider is between them. Alongside Pets isn’t a party to it and doesn’t employ or supervise providers.

If you’re a provider, use a client’s details only to care for their pet, and keep them private. Use your real name or business name, and don’t misrepresent who you are or your qualifications.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Care Card to break the law, impersonate anyone, collect people’s information, send spam or interfere with the service. We may remove content or close an account that breaks these terms.

No guarantees

We provide Care Card as it is and can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. Don’t rely on it as the only place you keep urgent care information. To the extent the law allows, Alongside Pets LLC isn’t liable for indirect losses, or for what a provider or owner does or doesn’t do.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will post changes here. You can stop using Care Card and delete your account at any time. Questions? Email hello@alongsidepets.com.
